Background & Orientation
This work emerges from over three decades of continuous engagement with energy cultivation, body-based practice, and psychological inquiry.
My foundation is in Daoist internal arts, studied over many years under Dr. Lu Jin Chuan, where energy work is approached as a trainable, perceptual discipline rather than a belief system. Within this tradition, energy is understood through structure, regulation, and relationship—principles that translate naturally to therapeutic work.
Alongside this lineage, I hold a B.Sc. in Psychology, and have trained extensively in Kung Fu, Taijiquan (Tai Chi), clinical massage therapy, fascia release, and was a Heilpraktiker (licensed alternative practitioner) in Germany. These strands inform both my teaching and clinical work, allowing me to bridge energetic perception with psychological understanding and ethical responsibility.
For over 30 years, my focus has been on:
My work with psychotherapists and psychologically trained practitioners inspired me to start a coaching/mentoring program for those who wish to engage with energy work at a deeper level—without abandoning clinical frameworks or professional integrity.
Rather than offering techniques to apply to clients, my teaching emphasises:

These strands inform both my teaching and clinical work, allowing me to bridge energetic perception with psychological understanding and ethical responsibility.
For over 30 years, my focus has been on:
- How emotional and psychological patterns organise within the body
- How energetic dynamics reflect nervous system states and relational fields.
- How perception can be trained so energy work becomes observable, testable, and grounded
- Teaching Energy Work
My work with psychotherapists and psychologically trained practitioners inspired me to start a coaching/mentoring program for those who wish to engage with energy work at a deeper level—without abandoning clinical frameworks or professional integrity.
Rather than offering techniques to apply to clients, my teaching emphasises:
- Training perception (felt sense, energetic tracking, structural awareness)
- Understanding how energy, affect, and somatic organisation interact
- Developing stability, clarity, and regulation in the practitioner
- Integrating energy awareness within existing therapeutic orientations
- This is not a modality to “add on,” but a way of refining how you perceive, orient, and intervene in therapeutic space.
Orientation of the Work; The work is:
- Experiential and embodied
- Rooted in Daoist principles rather than spiritual ideology
- Compatible with psychotherapy, supervision, and ethical practice
- Designed to deepen presence rather than create dependency
